EVALUATION MEETING

Evaluation and Validation Meeting – Sousse, Tunisia

20–24 May 2025

The project consortium gathered in Sousse, Tunisia, from 20 to 24 May 2025 for the validation meeting of the “Youth for Peace in the Mediterranean Sea” initiative. Hosted by our Tunisian partner, the event brought together all partner representatives from Morocco, Spain, Italy, France, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, and Tunisia to evaluate progress, challenge assumptions, and build stronger strategies for the next phases.

Day 1: Welcome & Overview

Following the official welcome, partners convened at the youth center for an overview of the meeting agenda and a presentation of the YXP project’s main components. The team then initiated the review and validation process, starting with Module 1 tools.

Days 2–3: Module Reviews

The subsequent days were dedicated to in-depth examination and validation of each educational module. Module 2 and Module 3 were discussed in separate sessions, during which partners provided feedback, proposed improvements, and confirmed the quality and relevance of the materials.

Day 4: Final Review & Field Visit

On the final day, the consortium conducted a comprehensive review of all tools and the project manual. Participants also visited local youth organizations and held an evaluation session to reflect on outcomes and outline next steps. Meetings with youth workers at the Sousse center strengthened local cooperation.

Key Outcomes

• Validated all educational modules for implementation across partner countries.
• Incorporated partner feedback to enhance content quality and relevance.
• Established clear agreements and responsibilities for upcoming phases.
• Strengthened partnerships through field visits and direct engagement with local youth stakeholders.

The meeting concluded with a collective evaluation and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes and effective collaboration throughout the next stages of the “Youth for Peace in the Mediterranean Sea” project.
