Meeting with Global Shapers

Med Forum Morocco recently held an online stakeholder meeting with Global Shapers, as part of the Youth for Peace in the Mediterranean Sea project, co-funded by the European Commission.

The discussion focused on common priorities such as youth leadership, civic engagement, and intercultural dialogue. Both organisations exchanged views on how to create stronger platforms for young people to voice their perspectives, participate in decision-making, and contribute to building inclusive and peaceful communities.

Global Shapers shared their initiatives in empowering youth to lead local actions with a global impact, while Med Forum Morocco presented the project’s objectives of fostering dialogue, mutual respect, and solidarity across the Mediterranean.

This meeting underlined the importance of collaboration between youth-led organisations at both local and international levels. Together, we are committed to enhancing opportunities for young people to act as drivers of positive change and to strengthen partnerships that promote social cohesion and peace.
