Meeting with World Merit Morocco

Launch Date: Sept 08, 2025 — Location:Online

We recently organised an online stakeholder meeting with World Merit Morocco under the framework of the Youth for Peace in the Mediterranean Sea project, co-funded by the European Commission. The session served as a constructive platform for dialogue, where both organisations reviewed priorities and explored new ways to cooperate on issues that matter to young people across the region.

The exchange focused on youth empowerment, social inclusion, and peacebuilding as shared areas of concern. Both organisations discussed how young people can take an active role in intercultural dialogue, connect across different communities, and contribute their voices to decision-making processes. They also considered practical steps to support youth participation in international initiatives and to equip young leaders with the skills and resources required to design impactful projects.

Med Forum Morocco highlighted the broader goals of the Youth for Peace project, which include fostering dialogue, strengthening solidarity, and building inclusive spaces for cooperation in the Mediterranean. World Merit Morocco presented its ongoing work with young people who are committed to addressing global challenges while remaining engaged in local action. Together, the two organisations identified opportunities to link their efforts, reach a wider audience, and expand the impact of youth-driven initiatives.

This meeting confirmed Med Forum Morocco’s strong commitment to developing lasting partnerships with youth organisations in Morocco and abroad. In close cooperation with World Merit Morocco, the Forum seeks to extend the reach of initiatives that promote understanding, dialogue, and social responsibility across the Mediterranean, while recognising young people as central actors in building inclusive and peaceful societies.
